**Tech Retail Coordinator - Job Description**

**Purpose of Role**:
The purpose of the Tech Retail Coordinator role is to ensure the smooth running of the in-store retail of tech products and to offer customers high quality shopping experience. The vision for this position is to eventually create a great shopping experience for second hand Tech equipment and create a team that provides top-quality service.

**Reporting to**: Operations Manager

**Outcomes**:

- Provide in-store customers with excellent service.
- Restock Tech Retail area as needed in coordination with Tech Repair Coordinator.
- Organise marketing and visual display for Tech Sales.
- Meet or exceed processing and sales targets.
- List tech equipment for sale online (peripherals).
- Communicate Edinburgh Remakery mission and values, when appropriate.

**Duties will include**:
Remakery Sales and Customer Service 65%
- Support sales of Remakery tech products and services.
- Assist customers, wanting to make an in-store purchase, to operate our systems.
- Give advice to customers wanting to purchase tech products.
- Pack and handle products being sold.

Restock 20%
- In coordination with Tech Repair Coordinator, identify items and put them on display.
- Daily checks that items are correctly displayed and priced.
- Inform Tech Repair Coordinator for trends of sales or low in stock products.

Marketing 10%
- In coordination with Marketing Team, organise marketing campaigns to boost Tech sales.
- In coordination with Events Team, organise seasonal visual displays.

Listing online 5%
- In coordination with Tech Team, list peripherals or other Tech items on our online platforms
- Optimise listings on Google Merchant

**Information Security Responsibilities**
The Events Support Assistant post holder must adhere to our ISO 27001 standards for information security tasks and functions that they might have to carry out.
- Update of incidents logs
- Media Disposal
- Setting up and removal of systems
- Customer information spreadsheets

**CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to take initiative and work unsupervised to meet targets.
- Previous experience working in a people facing role within a professional environment.
- Previous experience working in a customer service role.
- A working knowledge of technology trends.

**Desirable**:

- Previous experience working in Tech related sales role.
- Previous experience in coordinating staff members.
- Previous experience on visual merchandising and marketing.

**Working Pattern**:
Normal work pattern will be:
Tuesday - Saturday 9.30am-4pm

30 hours per week (minus 30-minute unpaid break per day)

Proposed salary: £22,500 (pro rata) - £18,000 (30 hours)
