Belmont House Devon Ltd is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated Senior Care Assistant to join our amazing team. As a Senior on the team you will be responsible for providing assistance to our elderly residents while ensuring the carers within the team are supported and guided by your skills and experience. We are looking for someone with patience, compassion and a genuine desire to work within this client group.

**About the Job**:
** **This post is for a full or part time Senior Care Assistant with alternate weekends. 24 to 36
hours per week with an opportunity to boost your hours by covering extra shifts such as
holidays or sickness.

**Skills and experience for this post.**

** **Previous experience working within this client group or similar.
- Experience in administering and ordering medication.
- Experience in leading or supporting a small team of staff.
- Able to support the team in giving personal care to your residents while
supporting and educating your team with past experience and skills.
- Able to delegate and communicate effectively when reporting to your line Manager and
when needing to talk to Gps and other health professionals.

**Job Requirements**:

- The successful applicant must hold a level 2 or above in Health and Social Care.
- An enhanced clear DBS is essential for this post.
- To attend and complete training relevant to your position.

**What we Provide**:

Part-time hours: 24-36 per week

**Salary**: £11.25 per hour

**Experience**:

- providing care: 1 year (preferred)
- supervisory: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
- NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care (preferred)
