Belmont House Devon Ltd is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated Care Assistant to join our amazing team. As a Carer on the team you will be responsible for providing assistance and personal care to our elderly residents by using your skills and experience. We are looking for someone with patience, compassion and a genuine desire to work within this client group. **Belmont House Devon Ltd is not registered for applicants requiring sponsorship.**

**Duties to include**:

- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Help with meal preparation and feeding
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Perform light housekeeping tasks in helping the resident's home be a comfortable place
to live
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic caregiving techniques and principles
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families
- Compassionate, patient and a good understanding of clients needs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
