Consultant Clinical Psychologist - Essential Requirements:

- Must be eligible for Graduate Membership of the BPS.
- Must have post-graduate doctoral level training in Clinical/Counselling psychology (or its equivalent for those trained prior to 1996) as accredited by the BPS.
- Must have HCPC registration under Practitioner Psychologist domain.
- Must have a minimum of six years post-qualification experience working as a Clinical/Counselling psychologist within the designated specialty (Adult Mental Health).
- Must be able to evidence having been permanently employed for a minimum of two years at a Consultant grade.
- Must be able to evidence having carried out clinical research (either implementation or supervision).
- Must have evidence of delivery of teaching and training.
- Must have evidence of having provided consultation to other professional and non-professional groups.
- Must hold in date Safeguarding Level 3 Certificate.
Consultant Clinical Psychologist - About the Role:

- Flexible & adaptable with a proactive approach
- You will join and become part of a multidisciplinary team, working within well equipped medical centres, dental centres or rehabilitation units where you will be valued as part of the Defence Medical Services team
- Deliver a professional & personal service at all times
- Ability to work alongside military personnel on Army, Royal Navy and Royal Air Force bases to deliver an exceptional standard of care for service personnel and their families (at some locations)
