Learning and Development Administrator

I am working exclusively with a dynamic and longstanding Scientific organisation, specialising in pathology with a recognised heritage of continual research, development and academic excellence.My client is looking for a Learning and Development Administrator,6 Months Fixed Term Contract, full time and based in Central London. This role is also flexible with Hybrid working.

About the role:
You will join a close-knit L&D team which works close with the HR department.Supporting the learning and development across our organisation, covering a range of professions such as finance, IT, customer service, in addition to our main group of scientificstaff.
They are passionate about supporting staff development and this role will play a key part across the organisation.
This post is offered for a 6-month fixed term contract to start asap.
The role in more detail:
- To support the team in the development and delivery of L&D activities
- Create relevant reports from HR and LMS data
- Maintain course bookings & administration, inclusive of evaluating the effectiveness of our training courses.
- Maintain and update IT systems in relation to L&D activities
- Provide input into shaping the direction of learning and development.
- To support development, maintain and circulate L&D policies and procedures for all key activities.
- To assist with the administration including answering staff queries, producing reports, collating feedback, and liaising with the platform providers.
- To assist with the delivery and collection of L&D course materials and equipment to
- and from training venues and assist trainers with setting up equipment when required
- To assist with the production of L&D related documentation.
- Undertake surveys and audits relating to L&D.
- Maintain all training records and ensure that KPI information can be easily obtained and
- reported in a timely manner and is fit for purpose for both internal and external audit
- requirements.
- To undertake any other duties as required by the Head of Learning & Development

To be considered for this role you must possess:
- Educated to a degree level or equivalent
- Experience of Learning Management systems, ideally Totara
- High level of computer literacy
- Experience and knowledge of L&D in a professional setting
- Experience with project management, including managing timelines establishing priorities, achieving milestones and deliverables
- Good report writing skills
- Able to work proactively on own initiative
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
