**Funds Onboarding Manager**
**Glasgow**

As a Barclays Funds Onboarding Manager, you will be part of the Funds Onboarding team which provides global support through single point of contact for agent trading client on-boarding requests and queries. Your team’s primary responsibility is to proactively source and collate information that expedites the completion of Know-Your-Client (KYC), Credit and Legal due diligence, as well as processing to meet regulatory requirements. The Funds Onboarding function, in liaison with on-boarding partners Sales, Clients, KYC, Credit and Legal.

We are currently operating in a hybrid working environment, meaning that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. Please discuss the detail of the working pattern options for the role with the hiring manager.

**What will you be doing?**
- Proactively seeking resolutions to bottlenecks in the onboarding process to help drive efficiencies
- Utilizing SME knowledge to initiate and facilitate process improvements
- Assisting management of a large regional team on a day to day basis
- Performing detailed analysis on client operational issues
- Liaising with multiple internal stakeholders including but not limited to Legal, Credit Risk and Business representatives
- Utilizing internal systems for workflow management and data storage

**What we’re looking for**:

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- Broad experience in Client Onboarding with Derivative/ FX product knowledge, with regulatory knowledge (MiFID, Dodd Frank/EMIR)
- Broad experience in a financial institution
- Proven expertise with MS Office/computer skills

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Proven ability to multi-task and manage heavy volumes of work and prioritize accordingly
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills with excellent Microsoft Office Skills (Outlook, Excel)
- Proven ability to work as part of a team
- Broad knowledge of industry regulations including but not limited to MIFD, EMIR, Dodd Frank, UCSM etc
