Pension Governance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Pension Governance Specialist to join our team at Barclays. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for pensions and investment governance to make a real impact.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to the Trustee Board Investment Committee (IC) and Defined Contribution Committee (DCC), including drafting agendas, horizon scanning, and project management.
You will work closely with the in-house investment management team to coordinate IC, DCC, and Trustee Board deliverables, and ensure that all activities are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements.
This role requires strong analytical skills, experience of working with pension schemes, and good technical knowledge of investment strategy, markets, asset classes, and pensions funding regulations.
About the Role
- Support the Trustee Board IC and DCC
- Coordinate IC, DCC, and Trustee Board deliverables
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

- Strong analytical skills
- Experience of working with pension schemes
- Good technical knowledge of investment strategy, markets, asset classes, and pensions funding regulations
