- The roleThe Company Secretarial team is looking for a very organised, pro-active and confident company secretarial assistant to assist the busy team with:

- company secretarial tasks including regularly making up statutory registers for client companies and filing documents at Companies House
- using the team’s Blueprint/Diligent database system to record company director changes, registered office changes and allotment and transfers of shares
- incorporating companies limited by shares, guarantee and LLP’s
- PSC changes and investigations
- filing confirmation statements and dormant accounts

This person will also assist with:

- billing clients for company secretarial work carried out by the individual
- opening and closing client/matter files
- detail oriented and focussed on providing the best work product for the group’s clients
- enjoy working in a team and as part of the wider corporate division and the firm at large
- able to complete tasks on time as required by statutory requirements and/or client demands
- adaptable to the fast-moving demands of the group’s clients

Between 1 to 2 years company secretarial experience is essential, ideally someone who has worked in professional practice (such as a law, accountancy or another professional services firm).
- Skills and qualificationsTechnical skills:

- Good IT skills - able to use Word and Excel.
- Diligent/GEMS or company secretarial software experience essential
- An eye for detail and able to spot errors.
- Innovative and able to suggest efficient ways to carry out tasks.
- Able to work in a busy team.

Personal skills:

- A positive “can do” attitude.
- Able to work independently with a good sense of responsibility and ability to “own” a task until it is completed.
- Organised, efficient, and precise.
- Open minded about developing and adopting new ways of working
- Naturally curious
- Demonstrates initiative and really thinks issues through.
- Strong communications skills at all levels

Hours

9.00 am - 5.30 pm, Monday to Friday. We work on a hybrid basis in terms of location, but members of the team are expected to be in the office for at least one day per week.
