Overview:
Malloy is an innovative business specialising in heavy lift drone design, manufacture, and support. It is a fast moving company which is expanding rapidly, and the small finance team require some additional resource. We are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant, which could be part time (minimum 5 hours a day) or full time. Our accounting package is QuickBooks, a knowledge of this software would be advantageous.

The key responsibilities / duties are:

- Accurate and timely coding of transactions within Quickbooks and allocating to cost centres/projects (1500 items a month), ensuring VAT is recorded correctly on transactions.
- Maintain accounts payable records, supplier and service provider agreements.
- Timely supplier payments, statement reconciliations and analysis.
- Timely payment of employee expense claims.
- Ensure payment credits are applied correctly.
- Prepare supplier reports.
- Review accounts payable processes for improvements.

**Skills**:
You will possess the following skills:

- Ability to communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders.
- Accurate and timely payment processing.
- Attention to detail, with speed and accuracy of processing.
- Ability to meet month end deadlines.
- Knowledge of excel and QuickBooks (accounts software)
- Knowledge of VAT regulations.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
