**Your role**

As the Team lead Operational Procurement you will be accountable for the overall performance of the team “Operational Procurement” with a total number of 10 FTEs.

Your main focus is to ensure a constant, excellent operational performance of the Operational Procurement team while continuously seeking for opportunities to improve the efficiency of the team via automation and process improvements. The role involves coordinating with various internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of operational procurement activities with business needs as well as procurement category strategies.

**Your future plans**
- Act as an indirect procurement team advisor on a global basis
- Establish effective, personal relationships with all team members to:

- set and deliver joint target agreements
- understand in detail and represent the team in terms of strategies, objectives, activities, and challenges
- align category strategies with team activities
- be the first contact point for all indirect operational procurement related escalations
- monitor team performance, coordinate team activities and manage workload of the team
- ensure the availability of requested goods & services based on a compliant and transparent ordering process in adherence with defined category strategies
- Provide support on procurement related topics and proactively bring relevant supply market knowledge to team decisions
- Take responsibility for ensuring automation and self-service capabilities are provided by the team to meet efficiency targets
- Align with category managers and other stakeholders, incorporating input from all relevant parties to be aware of the status of activities and progress affecting their assigned areas
- Identify training needs, provide supporting materials and advice to mitigate the risk of non-compliant procurement activities and promotes effective practices within the team

**Your profile**
- University degree in Business Administration or equivalent
- Substantial professional experience of 10 years plus in procurement
- Experience in leading procurement teams with the ability to inspire, influence and delegate effectively
- Excellent knowledge of indirect procurement processes & systems, especially SAP MM
- Track record of delivering results, driving continuous improvement
- Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills across all level
- Experience in change and project management
- Stress resilience, ability to stay calm and take fact based decisions in a hectic environment
- Business fluent in English and German
