The Delivery Support Officer (Finance) is a central role responsible for providing essential project and product accounting services and operational support to enable the smooth execution of projects, products, and initiatives within the organisation.

This position plays a critical part in ensuring that all portfolios, products and projects have robust budget management information; you will provide timely and accurate monthly statements to teams, and support them in their budget forecasting.

The role requires the monthly download of data from SAP, apportioning spend to different cost centres and activities, production of summary budget statements, and meetings with teams and individuals to discuss budget variances. You will also be creating the commentary for our KPIs and ensuring that senior managers have access to the budget information they require in order to make decisions.

The postholder will be providing financial budget support to Delivery, Product and Portfolio Managers, and to IDG Directors. Due to the strategic nature of the projects, the individual should feel comfortable in liaising with stakeholders at all levels and possess an understanding of project management methodologies (agile, scrum, waterfall).

The role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the successful execution of projects and initiatives by providing essential support, coordination, and assistance to project teams, ultimately helping the organisation achieve its strategic goals.
