Key tasks will include but will not be limited to:

- Provide administrative support ensuring a high level of quality, security and confidentiality is maintained.
- Present information in a clear and concise manner ensuring accuracy and compliance with the client's house style.
- Process reports, correspondence and any other information.
- Provide support for a wide variety of projects to support the organisation's strategic outcomes and priorities.
- Input, update, extract and manipulate information from computer databases and/or manual records as required.
- Use Excel to create and maintain spread sheets.
- Organise travel and accommodation requirements for staff.
- Deal with and manage requests for external venue bookings.
- Raise and receipt purchase orders using client's finance database.
- Arrange bookings for attendance at conferences/training events.
- Take notes of meetings as requested.
- Carry out filing, record and archive information.
- Help organise meetings, workshops, seminars and events.
- Order stationery and any other consumables such as paper, ink cartridges etc.
- Provide support for inductions for new staff.
- Undertake other work as directed by department managers.

Essential Knowledge, Experience and Skills:

- Standard grades or equivalent qualifications.
- Operating within busy environment
- Telephone answering and query handling.
- Handling confidential information.
- Uses systematic approach to make efficient use of time and manage workload, prioritising own work effectively to meet deadlines and objectives.
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite in particular Word and Excel.
- Concise and clear oral and written skills with an understanding of the importance of attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively individually and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to new initiatives or change to current practices.
- Ability to select appropriate communication, style and methods depending on the abilities and needs of the audience.
- Customer Service experience.
- Record keeping and information gathering, including statistics.
- Database administration.
- Minute taking.
