Lettings Administrator

W J Meade are looking for a Lettings Administrator to join our well established Lettings and Property Management team in Mile End, East London. Being a core member of the Property Management team, you will be responsible for initiating tenancies and assisting with property maintenance queries, working with the Lettings Managers to ensure our tenants are looked after and tenancies are managed effectively.
As our Lettings Administrator, you will be responsible for preparing a tenancy to commence. You will be informed when a suitable applicant has been secured for a tenancy, and you will then begin compiling and completing the relevant property, landlord and tenant paperwork. Liaising with all parties involved, including; applicant, landlord and the referencing company, you will be instrumental in initiating the tenancy. You will need to organised, good at multi-tasking and be quick at administration, as well as having strong interpersonal skills as you will be working with all types of individuals.
Additionally, you will be responsible for lodging tenancy deposits and completing the relevant paperwork, as well as assisting tenants with any maintenance issues they raise whilst in occupation.
**Duties**:
- Collate tenant, landlord and property documents to initiate a tenancy.
- Assist tenants through the referencing process; liaising with them and the referencing company to get a satisfactory report produced.
- Complete all relevant tenancy paperwork so that the tenancy can go live.
- Lodge tenancy deposits and send out relevant paperwork to tenants.
- Organise and complete tenancy renewal paperwork for new contracts to be produced.
- Assist in resolving maintenance issues, by working with landlord, tenant and contractor to see jobs through to completion.
