Supply Chain Co-ordinator

**Job Purpose**:
Responsible for for the overall purchasing activities, management and monitoring of inventory, coordinating receiving and shipment of goods and providing general logistics support in line with management strategy and budget.
**Responsibilities**:
- Reviewing stock requirements to maintain continuous supply of all items sourced ensuring production receive the goods on time, in line with current requirements and trends.
- Raising purchase orders via our computer system, processing with the suppliers and progressing through to receipt of goods.
- Maintaining arrival dates on the computer system, to ensure accuracy of information on stock arrivals and budgeted spend.
- Monitoring and co-ordinating all supplier deliveries and collections, to ensure timely arrival tracking and reporting KPI performance.
- Processing imports paperwork with appropriate tariff codes for European deliveries as applicable.
- Working with the Goods In /PRI department to ensure all deliveries are received and processed accurately.
**Knowledge, Skills, Education, Training and Experience**:
- 3 years’ experience working in a warehouse/despatch environment, ideally from the engineering/manufacturing industry.
- Must be proficient or have experience in import and export procedures
- Planning and organisational skills are also required to ensure business objectives and deadlines are met whilst ensuring the integrity of the Company.
- Must have proven communication skills with excellent written and oral abilities.
- A proactive approach with proven team-working skills required to ensure departmental and business objectives and deadlines are met whilst ensuring the integrity of the Company.
- Must have a good level of IT Skills and Experience in ERP/MRP Systems would be advantageous.
- Gained chartered Institute and Supply (CIPS) advantageous
- Must have a valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
