**POWDER COATER CO-ORDINATOR**

**Starting Salary £14.00 per hour plus additional benefits**

Established in 2001, the BJS Group of Companies based in Beeston, Leeds, specialise in fabrication, welding, waterjet and laser cutting and a great opportunity has now become available to work in the extremely busy Powder Coating business within the Group, BJS Powder Coating Ltd.

We require a fully experienced Powder Coater who will also be responsible for running and managing the day to day operation of the business.

The main duties and responsibilities of the role will be:

- Setting up equipment and picking the correct paint powders to achieve the right colour and specification.
- Understand instructions from orders and drawings.
- Perform frequent colour changes ensuring correct levels of thickness and gloss.
- Quality checking all work undertaken throughout the process.
- Identify non-conforming items.
- Ensure that health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Shot blasting various parts to the required standards.
- Ordering and maintaining stock.
- Completion of all necessary administration tasks and paperwork associated with each job.
- Co-ordination of deliveries.

Computer literacy is essential and knowledge of Sage 50 would be desirable (but full training will be given)
