As CGL RISE expands its services to cater to individuals with complex mental health conditions, we are seeking a skilled **Dual Diagnosis Team** **Leader **specialising in Complex Dual Diagnosis (Co-existing Mental Health and Substance Use).

**About Us**:
CGL RISE is a consortium substance misuse service dedicated to supporting adults in Ealing Borough who seek assistance with their drug and/or alcohol issues. As the lead contract providers, CGL collaborates with Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust and Build on Belief to deliver comprehensive support to our service users.

We are a diverse and collaborative team, comprising of a dedicated group that includes a service manager, consultant psychiatrists, medical professionals, compassionate nurses, attentive healthcare assistants, empathetic recovery staff, passionate volunteers, efficient administrators, and supportive peer mentors.

**Allowances**:£4,072.06 Inner London weighting

**Hours**: 37.5

**Salary**: £34,700.09 - £36,635.38 dependent on experience

**Responsibilities**:
**About the role**:

- Operational line management of a team of staff which includes supervision (with reflective practice), appraisal, performance and sickness management as well as ensuring staff follow CGL and external policies applicable to their roles.
- Empowering staff to promote hope, empowerment, choices, control, and opportunities that assist service users reaching their full potential as individuals and community members.
- Work with your team and Designated Safeguarding Lead (if not your role) to ensure that the practices within the team/service enable identification of service users, children and families who are at risk. Ensure that staff are competent in the delivery of interventions that reduce risk to service users.
- Support staff to improve service user outcomes through observed practice, providing timely values-based feedback.
- Lead on the recruitment, selection and induction of staff.

**Primary Objectives**:

- Address the treatment needs of individuals facing substantial risks & unmet needs, with a focus on those with traditionally poor anticipated outcomes.
- Enhance engagement and retention in both community mental health and substance misuse treatment among individuals with complex co-morbidities.

**About you**:

- Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant experience.
- Knowledge and experience of developing and leading health and social care services and delivering services which evidence high performance and quality standards.
- Knowledge of current legislation surrounding children, young people, and safeguarding practice
- Able to lead, inspire and develop a team.

**Qualifications**:

- Relevant professional qualifications and experience in substance misuse and mental health fields.
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary settings.
- Experience in assertive outreach and engagement strategies.
- Knowledge of community substance misuse treatment pathways and mental health support services.
- Commitment to improving outcomes for individuals with complex comorbidities.
