IT Asset Coordinator

We're seeking an IT Asset Coordinator to lead the charge in managing our valuable assets, contracts, and ensuring the security of our business devices. This position is a result of growth in the team and plays a key part in the growth and future planning of the company.
This is a full time position based at our Petersfield head office
**What will I be doing?**
As an IT Asset Coordinator, you'll oversee asset management, ensuring accurate records and compliance with ISMS policy. You'll manage contracts, procure and configure company devices, and maintain communications systems. Additionally, you'll provide first-line IT support, manage ticketing portals and domains, and oversee the onboarding/offboarding process for new starters. Your role extends to proactive maintenance of business devices, user training, and providing coverage during colleagues' annual leave.
Further duties include:
- Contract management
- Proactive maintenance and monitoring of all business devices and licences including planned maintenance, scheduling updates and check-ins
- Support with testing to meet business requirements
- Management and administration of payment gateways
- Management and support of networks and devices on all business sites
**What do I need?**
To succeed as an IT Asset Coordinator with SMI you will need:
- Technical knowledge (software & hardware)
- Knowledge of ISMS principles
- Asset management experience (desirable)
- Proven track record of good organisation and co-ordination skills
- Strong administrative skills
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- MS Office user (Excel, Word etc.)
- Proactive approach to work, efficient task management
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Attention to detail
- Process driven
- Accountability for your own actions
- Integrity, trust and honesty
- Have a positive and energetic attitude
- Ability to work in a team or a self-motivated environment
- Business experience (wider business understanding rather than focusing on a role or department only)
