**School Outreach Worker**

Are you an experienced teacher who would be keen to take on a different role where you will still work closely with students and schools but not need to teach (or plan, or mark, or manage behaviour..the list goes on)?

Tradewind are working in partnership with a fantastic Multi Academy Trust who are looking to appoint several Outreach Workers starting in September

**Outreach Worker role - suitable for all qualified and experienced teachers**

**1 year temporary to permanent contract**

**H5 Hertfordshire salary on term time contract over 37 hours**

**Rewarding role where you will be able to support students and schools**

**The Outreach Worker role**:
Working with a highly successful St Albans SEN School you will work a location within Hertfordshire where you will work with students, their families and schools in order to support them through a difficult part of their life with the end goal being to keepthem in mainstream education. This is a highly rewarding role that suits teachers who still have that passion for education and watching young people achieve but are keen on some time out of the day to rigours of class teaching

**Requirements for this post**:

- Qualified Teacher status and recent teaching experience in any key stage
- A passion for supporting disaffected students and helping them to find enjoyment in education

**Benefits of the post**:

- Salary of H5 on Hertfordshire pay scale (between £20,903 and £23,080)
- Term time only post
- Temporary to permanent role
- Paid travel between students and schools all of which is done during your working hours
- Small geographical locations to work in (Welwyn & Hatfield, St Albans and Broxbourne)
