Albion Rye Associates are delighted to be partnered with an independent medical communications agency on the look out for a Scientific Director

This agency works with leading blue-chip, pharmaceutical and bio tech clients as a key strategic partner. Their work mostly focuses on medical affair activities, aswell as medical education, marketing and publications. They work on a variety of projects,including all key deliverables as well as digital and creative work. Key therapy areas are cardiovascular, metabolism, immunology, neurology, oncology, respiratory, virology and infectious diseases and alot more.

**Role**:

- Oversee and lead client accounts and provide strategic input
- Line manage a team, resources and provide leadership and mentorship across the business
- Ensure scientific materials are accurate and to a high standard
- Lead teams to meet client and internal specifications
- Act as an internal expect regarding therapy areas, compliance and industry guidelines
- Develop internal training materials and deliver sessions
- Lead teams responsible for new business proposals and pitches
- Generate and secure new business opportunities

**Who you are**:

- Life Science Degree
- 5+ years of medical writing and medical communication agency experience
- Previous live management experience
