**Purchasing Assistant**

**Permanent - Leyland (Office-based) - £28,000**

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join one of the most established companies in the Leyland area. My client is an extremely successful manufacturing and distribution firm whose products have a global reach. Due to internal promotion, they are looking to appoint somebody to join their well-established Purchasing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Administrator - somebody who has supported senior managers and who ideally has some purchasing experience.

Key duties of this role will include:

- Providing comprehensive administrative support to the Director and Senior Managers within the team - booking of travel, arranging diaries, coordinating invoices etc.
- Maintain the supplier database
- Analysing current processes and improving where possible
- Ensuring all purchasing is processed in a timely manner
- Updating internal Time and Attendance systems and coordinating staff training and updating records
- Ensure all purchasing reporting is completed to deadline
