**What you’ll be doing**:

- Provide SI Test Facilities team guidance, supporting the Avionics T&E Engineering Manager, SI Test Team and Integration & Test Operations Team. This will involve managing a small team of Test Facilities Engineers, providing the required coaching and support
- Ensure that SI test facilities and equipment are available and serviceable in order to support the SI test programme
- Establish upgrades required to the SI rigs to support future programmes. This will involve sourcing / compiling:
Ø Statement of Need documents (SoN)

Ø System Functional Requirement Documents (SFRD)

Ø Request For Estimates (RFE)

Ø Rig Change Authority Documents (RCA) and Rig System Release Notes (SRN)

Ø Raising Works Request Forms (WRFs)
- Work with internal stakeholders (e.g., Facilities Management and Accommodation) to define and progress building infrastructure upgrades required to support the SI rigs
- Ensure that Test Facilities Team processes and supporting documentation is kept current

**Your skills and experiences**:

- Apprenticeship / Engineering degree background and previous experience performing a relevant role
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships and maintain a network of contacts
- Proficient problem-solving skills
- Experience working in engineering and or test environments
- Good understanding of Health and Safety in an engineering environment E38

**The Systems Integrations Test Facilities Support team**:
As a part of Systems Integrations Test Facilities Support team, you will lead the team responsible for sustaining the Typhoon and Tornado Avionics System Integration (SI) rigs so that they are fit to support current and future SI test demand. This will include helping build resilience into the SI rigs and rig support equipment (RSE) as part of a future rig support and improvement strategy.
