**What you’ll do**

As Brand Lead you will lead the development of brand strategy and the implementation of tactics through leadership of the cross-functional team.

This includes the external strategy and interaction with key customer groups within the therapeutic area, including clinical, governmental, national and regional payer groups to deliver positive outcomes. Working with key internal partners across the enterprise, the Brand Lead will lead strategic planning for patient access and communicate across the business for the brand. You will be responsible for the delivery of brand objectives and sales targets, operating within the defined resource. Accountable for all marketing team deliverables for the brand including driving practice change at scale, developing the single brand plan, tactical execution and activation.

**Accountabilities**:

- Responsible for achievement of brand financial objectives and competitive share
- Responsible for design and deployment of the cross-functional brand plan
- Plays a leading role across the functional teams (medical, IBEX, policy, compliance, finance, marketing access)
- Responsible and owns the process and inputs required for business planning and financial planning cycles
- Ensures omnichannel is embedded into the brand plan and customer engagement map
- External engagement with key internal and external partners, influencers, and decision makers
- Uses insights and performance data to ensure strategic decision making is informed and agile to market shifts
- Responsible for managing promotional budget across functional initiatives

**Essential Skills and Experience**
- Significant pharmaceutical commercial experience with a strong performance track record
- Strong marketing leadership with a successful track record of growing market share
- Preparing for and successfully launching new products and brands
- Creative marketing capabilities together with meticulous commercial business sense
- Degree qualified, ideally with additional post-graduate qualification such as an MBA

**Desirable Skills and Experience**
- Good experience of the UK market, with its unique NHS system
- MBA
