We are seeking a Retail Administrator to assist our Retail team in the management of our retail operations including two exhibition pop-up stores.

This role will include leading the team of Retail Assistants as well as assisting with various administrative tasks such as shift timetabling, stock management and daily sales reporting as well as the maintaining of an online store and product research. You will work closely with the retail management team to ensure the successful delivery of retail projects such as outlets alongside specific suppliers and merchandise.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Managing the team of Retail Assistants when on shift, ensuring staff are effectively occupied, with breaks taken on time with sufficient cover provided
- Assisting in maintenance of stock levels, overseeing re-stocking, managing goods-in and stock returns
- Assist with delivery of the training for new staff and guiding the team in day-to-day best practise, including health and safety and customer service
- Managing the day to day running of our The Missing Thread and Cute retail outlets and events, with lead responsibility on evenings and weekend

**Skills, Knowledge and Expertise**:
**Experience**:

- Leading a team in a retail environment, including rostering, training and supervising staff
- Relevant IT systems such as EPOS, Shopify and CRM systems (eg Tessitura)
- Experience in a customer facing role, managing feedback and resolving difficult situations
- Leading on visual merchandising
- Responsibility of stock management
- Building strong working relationships across departments

- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Health and Safety knowledge
- A proactive, hands-on approach, with ability to remain calm under pressure
