**About the role**
We have a fantastic role in our Packaging division at DS Smith for a Digital Marketing Executive to join us. You'll be joining a dynamic team with the goal of increasing engagement amongst target audiences through our digital channels, creating high-qualitycontent, and managing various pages on the company website. You'll have the opportunity to work with, and learn from, a high performing team so that you can continue your development in Marketing, becoming an expert in digital channels and the work that goesinto promoting a FTSE 100 organisation.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing and updating all digital channels at country level, including website and social media channels, and making timely changes to the content where immediate updates are required
- Developing effective digital marketing activations to support the delivery of the country annual Marketing plan
- Deploying digital marketing communications as directed by the country Marketing and Communications Manager - ensuring divisional and Group-wide marketing campaigns are deployed with country specific activations that make impact locally
- Staying ahead of key developments in digital technologies and how they might be applied for DS Smith's benefit, including exploration of new ways to reach and proactively engage with target stakeholders
- Creating and maintaining editorial content calendars for digital channel(s)
- Monitoring and analysing the effectiveness of campaigns and activities across all digital channels to maximise results and content outreach, including lead generation and tracking
- Monitoring key digital metrics against KPIs through the existing tools within the business and identifying where additional tools may be necessary
**About you**
- An experienced Digital Specialist - comfortable creating impactful content, managing digital channels, and managing a varied project portfolio
- Knowledge of emerging practices and trends in digital technologies and advances in social media
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with sensitivity to the audience and medium in use
- Comfort working at an implementation level
- Agile and adaptable to constantly changing work requirements
- Project management skills to see a project from creative idea through to implementation and appropriate measurement of outcomes
- Proven track record of collaborative working and building strong relationships, negotiating and influencing effectively to achieve business goals
- Experience of reporting against KPIs
- Degree level education with a preference for graduates of language, communications or social sciences courses
