The HR Advisor will report to the HR Manager and will be responsible for all HR operations and employee relations on behalf of the organisation. This is a key role which requires a generalist background.

The HR Advisor Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, the HR Advisor will work as part of the HR team and will support the organisation's UK sites to provide best in class HR service to the business.

HR Advisor Responsibilities:

- Advise and support managers on HR issues including absence, grievance, flexible working, capability discipline
- Manage and respond to employee relations issues, supporting managers with individual casework
- Prepare appropriate documentation in relation to new appointments, terminations, variations of contractual terms
- Manage employee on boarding/off boarding and probation process with line managers
- Maintain and update the HR information system, ensuring the accurate recording of personal, employment, payroll and staff information within data protection legislation and in line with employment law.
- Keep up-to-date with HR best practice and legislative change, develop and review HR Policy
- Work closely with the Payroll Specialist
- Review and update the employee benefit offer in line with other colleges, keeping within budgetary constraints

HR Advisor Skills:

- CIPD Level 5 or equivalent
- Experience of working in a HR Advisor or Generalist role
- Previous HR generalist or advisory experience is advantageous
- Initially a fully on site role with the opportunity for hybrid once fully fledged in the role
- This is an excellent opportunity for a HR Generalist/Advisor to make the role their own and add value to the organisation.
