**Working Hours**: 12 hour day shifts, 6am - 6pm. Week 1 : Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Week 2: Wednesday & Thursday.

**Salary**: £11.91 - £13.37ph / £26,000 - £29,200 per annum.

**Experience we are looking for...**
- **Minimum of 2 years of experience of working within a quality assurance, technical or food safety compliance role in the food manufacturing industry**:

- **Experience of inspection of goods and sample taking**:

- **Ability to work on own initiative**

**Your Daily Responsibilities will include...**
- Collect samples from intake through to packaging and finish product for analysis.
- Carry out tests on products - raw and finished goods to ensure passes regulations
- Look after and maintain all lab equipment and ensure that there are always supplies of lab consumables in a timely manner by regular stock checks.
- Collate and file all lab results against the relevant product both from the internal and external lab
- Routine swabbing as required
- Actively participate in external audits and visits including, factory tours and traceability exercises.
- Accurate record keeping of all results and audits using both paperwork and computer systems.
- Raw material sampling and supplier non-conformance control
- Enforcing site and food production policies
- Inspect goods upon arrival to factory
- Other duties as assigned or required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £11.91-£13.37 per hour
