Over the past 9 years, we have developed our direct to consumer channels and sell over half a million products each year via our website.

As our Social Media Assistant you will build brand awareness, create content and interact with our customers on social platforms.

**The responsibilities of SHO’s new Social Media Assistant position**
You will have a varied role with key responsibilities which directly lead to improving customer relations and growing our DTC business. If you are enthusiastic, hard-working, have an eye for detail and are passionate about social media then this job is for you.

**Who are we looking for to fill this new role?**
You are passionate about social media and have a creative eye. You are keen to learn and improve and take pride in what you do. You enjoy following (and leading) new trends on social media and have an interest in photography and video. You care for the planet and the environment and would enjoy promoting reusable bottles and cups.

Key responsibilities include the following:

- Creating effective content for multiple social media channels, including videos, posts, and stories
- Responsible for posting consistently across channels in-line with the marketing strategy
- Monitor and respond to followers comments and messages daily
- Interacting and engaging across multiple platforms to increase our online community
- Collaborating with the Marketing Manager to strategise and distribute content across multiple channels
- Collecting and monitoring social statistics to improve brand engagement and growth

**Required Skills**:

- Proficient at using content editing apps like Adobe Suite, canva, video, capcut etc
- Creative Skills - experience creating both video and still image content, especially using phone cameras
- Excellent written communication and copywriting - ability to create engaging copy
- Outstanding customer service and interaction skills
- Basic Excel knowledge and understanding
- Familiarity with social media analytics and insights
- Excellent time-management - you will be working both independently and as part of a team, so we expect you to be able to balance multiple tasks while maintaining the performance of the social media channels

You will be expected to adhere to our brand guidelines:

- Using the correct fonts for titles, body text, buttons, quotes etc
- Using the correct colours
- Using on brand imagery

The kind of questions we expect you to be asking and answering:

- ‘What is the content to successfully execute this marketing campaign’
- ‘How can I improve a customer’s experience when communicating on social platforms’
- ‘Does this post fit our brand narrative and look?’

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
