Due to a recent promotion my client are looking to fill an Account Management role within their successful Financial Institutions Sales Team. They offer hardware and software solutions and are well known and established company.

Your primary responsibility will be managing a portfolio of existing accounts, which predominately includes high street banks and building societies. You will deal with day to day queries from these accounts and also be responsible for driving new businesswithin them through upselling and cross selling.

**Main responsibilities**:

- Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships.
- Work with technical staff, pre-sales and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.
- Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs.
- Business Opportunity Planning
- Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
- Develop an expansive network within the sector
- To act as an escalation, for issues on the customer’s projects and service delivery and ensure the swift and effective resolution of issues
- To actively seek out market and competitor intelligence to be the supplier of choice
- Lead all tender processes within your client base from formal response documents to presenting the solutions
- Deliver full governance for the requirement of each client contact - encourage deliver regular senior stakeholder strategy reviews
- Research and build relationships with new clients.
- Set up meetings between client decision makers and company’s practice leaders/Principals.
- Plan approaches, tenders, and pitches. Work within the team to develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
- Lead in responding for pricing the solutions and services.

To be successful you will have previously worked as an account manager, selling into Financial Services will be advantageous but not essential. A full clean driving license is needed.

The role can be based anywhere in the UK, but occasional travel will be needed to their Sales office in the North of England.
