Are you looking for an Account/Sales position where you will be developed to become a technical expert?

This business is long established providing mechanical parts across Ireland. Working in a small Sales team, this role is office based with the focus initially on Account Management then progressing to Business Development in time. Supportive Training willbe provided to learn about the product range.

**About the role**

Customer Support
- Taking orders from customers and assisting with their enquiries.
- Building a relationship with suppliers to give better service to our customers.
- Develop a good working knowledge of our product range
- Understand competitor activities.

Sales Support
- Proactive approach to telesales to generate new business.
- Work closely with the field sales team in order to coordinate the sales effort
- Analyse selected databases to identify opportunities for new business.
- Assist in project work or other administrative work as required.
- Prepare customer quotations.
- Provide customer service to our trade counter.
- Service trade counter area

**About you**
- Good phone skills and a pleasant manner are necessary
- Basic computer knowledge is required
- Some technical experience with machinery would be an advantage
- High degree of professionalism, diplomacy, discretion, trustworthy, judgement and cultural sensitivity.
- A team player with the ability to build relationships across the organisation.
- A positive attitude and an appreciation of professional selling.
- Enjoy working in a target-driven team environment.
- Be self-motivated with drive and initiative.
