Sales and Marketing Director

We are currently recruiting for a Sales and Marketing Director to join a thriving and growing business in the heart of Dublin. This unique opportunity has arisen to join the business at a key growth phase for the company.
Working within the Hospitality sector, this role will suit someone with strong previous experience in this industry as you will have a key involvement in Sales and Marketing strategies across accommodation, meeting room rental and food and beverage. You willalso have direct responsibility for the overall sales performance across different segments of the business. Focusing on delivering outstanding and unmatched quality of service for customers whilst also increasing profit will be your overarching goal.
Snapshot of your day to day duties;
- Managing the sales and marketing strategy and delivery for key hotels within the business, based in Dublin
- Ensure that guest satisfaction is at the heart of every decision you make
- Build and maintain strong relationships both within the business as well as externally
- Continuously monitor and develop the brand and maintain a strategic perspective on how this can be done
- When the GM is absent, to represent the business in forums as and when required
- Conduct and be present at all sales and operational meetings
- Write and execute annual sales and marketing plans, focusing on uncovering new business opportunities
- Manage local advertising and PR as well as any promotional events or activities

Key responsibilities;
- Develop business strategies after reviewing reports and data from within the business
- Work with other senior colleagues to ensure the budget is accurate
- Be present at all revenue related meetings within the business
- Identifying an annual budget for the sales and marketing function and keeping within this total yearly
- Maintain competitor knowledge as well as industry trends that may impact the business
