Home Instead Chesterfield is a leading provider of non-medical care and companionship services for older people. With minimum visits of one hour, award winning training and an excellent reputation we are immensely proud of the quality of care we provide. We match our Care Professionals to our Clients based on mutual interests and hobbies to help build bonds of trust and this enables us to provide personalised support.

The Care Team Support performs a variety of administrative and care duties. The Care Team Support is expected to answer telephone calls, complete administrative duties, provide care for Clients as required and supports with a variety of tasks to provide the highest quality service to Clients.

**The Role**
- Support Care Professionals in their day-to-day role
- Provide quality introductions and support with medication.
- Provide care for Clients as required.
- Provide support to the Care Director and the Care Team in all aspects of the business.
- Being part of the On-Call Rota
- Answer telephones calls in a polite professional manner, passing on clear messages and actioning messages where appropriate.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Maintain and uphold company standards and ethos.
- Ensure compliance with Home Instead’s Equality, Diversity and Equal Opportunities Policy, in respect of employment and service delivery.

**Person Specification**
- Able to demonstrate dedication and ownership to complete allocated work tasks.
- Good clear telephone manner with excellent written and oral communication skills
- Good planning, time management and organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Goal Orientated and an ability to cope within a fast-changing environment.
- Smart, professional appearance

**Additional Information** Essentials**:

- Must have clear DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service).
- Driving licence and use of a car on a daily basis
- Must have experience in office administration. Good understanding of all Microsoft office programs (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook etc.) and using a variety of technology.

The Care Team Support works 5 out of 7 days on a rota system which will include some weekend and evening work.

**Salary**: £23,000 per annum plus additional on call payment
