The Sands Meadows Care Home has an exciting opportunity for an Activity Support and Development Co-ordinator.

Key duties will include:
- Planning and delivery of meaningful resident activities utilising community links and volunteers.
- To work with the care teams at the home to coordinate activities and events for the residents.
- Create and publish monthly activity plans, working a month ahead of time

Arrange and escort residents on outings.
- Need to hold a full UK driving licence.
- Have a supportive and approachable listening style
- Be flexible and adaptable, according to the needs and preferences of the residents
- Be innovative, enthusiastic, and creative
- Be a “people person” who enjoys working with others
- Be willing to establish links with community groups and build a team of volunteers to support activities within the home.
- Have experience of working within the care setting

This is a position working 20 hours per week, some flexibility will be required at weekends dependent on events.
