- **JOB DESCRIPTION**:_

**SHIPPING/RECEIVING ADMINISTRATOR.**

The Shipping/Receiving administrator will receive incoming materials, products, and supplies and enter data in our business system. They are also responsible for preparing items for shipment, restocking shelves, and keeping a neat and orderly parts storage area.
- **MAIN DUTIES**:_
- Examines received contents and compares with orders to verify accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Determines shipping method for materials, using knowledge of shipping procedures.
- Prepares documents, such as invoices, bills of lading and shipping orders.
- Corresponds with customers to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, and nonconformance to specifications.
- Assist in keeping parts area clean, and orderly.
- Restocking and maintaining inventory of stock.
- **REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES**:_
- Previous wholesale or retail customer service or sales experience.
- Must be able to read and write and have the capacity to complete required paperwork and records.
- Computer skills: Microsoft Office, Internet, E-mail, and in-house business system.
- Ability to work one-on-one with customers, both in person and on the telephone.
- **WORK REQUIREMENTS**:_
- Must be detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure.
- Must be able to complete tasks that may require bending, twisting, heavy lifting, and crouching.
- Must have the ability to read printed materials on a computer screen and have good communication skills to deal with customers in person and over the telephone.
- They may be exposed to and handling hazardous materials.
- **SALARY AND BENEFITS**:_
- MONTHLY BONUS SCHEME.
- PENSION SCHEME.
- WORKING HOURS THURS 9-5, FRIDAY 8-4.

JOB CLOSING DATE 12th Sept

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 14 per week

**Salary**: £10.00-£13.00 per hour
