**Company Accountant / Bookkeeper | Chesterfield | £30,000 - 35,000 per annum**

**The Opportunity**

Owner-led, professional, diverse SME (£20m turnover) are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper / Company Accountant to join the business.

This opportunity offers a hands on, broad role in an environment where you can enjoy full autonomy over your role and the chance to make a real difference in a busy, dynamic environment with a high calibre client base.

The remit will encompass all aspects of the day to day bookkeeping / accounting for the business - managing all aspects of month end and producing accurate accounts to TB (the external accountants will produce detailed quarterly management accounts but you will be involved in providing valuable management information such as cashflow analysis etc).

You will have:

- Previous experience in a similar role in an SME environment as their Company Accountant / Bookkeeper / Finance Manager.
- The ability to work autonomously
- A hands-on approach
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in liaising with various external stakeholders
- AAT ideally.
- A methodical approach with excellent attention to detail
- The ability to prioritise workload and adapt to changing work priorities
- Experience with multi-currency payments
