The Treasury department is responsible for the management of all monies both Client and Corporate

along with the provision of all management reporting for the activities it undertakes both internally to the operational teams and externally to Regulators and, where appropriate, other 3rd parties.

Treasury Middle Office is a fast-moving environment within Treasury Operations and is responsible for the control environment surrounding Treasury including the administration of all banking platforms, the management of all Computershare bank accounts (circa 12,000), the due diligence for all Treasury counterparties and the handling all banking/payment related queries from both internal and external parties. Treasury Middle office perform a pivotal role in the many Treasury process deal flows to ensure the compliance with the Treasury and Client investment policy.

Team management will play a large part of this role with the Supervisor monitoring performance to ensure adherence to personal objectives and the wider objective of team and department, cross training to ensure cover and, where appropriate, succession planning.

The review of established procedures to identify and implement effective process improvement together with efficiency is crucial to the success of the department along with proactively supporting all Analysts and Senior Analysts in their daily tasks and activities to ensure a high level of education and awareness.
- Provide expert advice in field of specialism to internal and external stakeholders on a range of topics
- Supervise, develop and motivate a team.
- Take proactive measures to identify and resolve operational issues, independently handling escalations and provide updates to management as appropriate.
- Investigate and implement changes that can be made to streamline current processes, including providing sign-off for updated documentation and procedure guides for the team.
- Take the lead on both internal and external audit queries, coordinating walkthroughs, providing information and taking any necessary remediation.
- Keep up to date with all industry/regulatory changes which would affect Middle Office and to use to ensure compliance and best practice across all processes and procedures.
- Comply with operational risk, control policies, procedures, make sure any breaches to regulations are reported.
- Undertake end user and system User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Key skills desired for the role include:

- Minimum of 4 years of relevant industry experience, Treasury or Financial Servies preferred
- 4+ years’ experience in People Management
- Stakeholder management
- Good understanding of how the regulatory landscape impacts the company
- Extensive knowledge of the products and services provided by Computershare
- Proven track record of working on projects
- Training experience
- ACCA, ACT or CIMA qualification preferred
