It’s more than a job. Helping an older person get out of the house. Helping an individual with limited mobility access vital services. Helping a renal dialysis patient get to their life saving treatment. That's when its real.

- We are looking for more than just experienced drivers. We are looking for individuals who can demonstrate a warm, positive and people focused attitude and who will go above and beyond to treat our passengers with care, dignity, and respect._
- The post holder will provide professional and high-quality care, collecting passengers with a range of additional needs and transporting them to destinations such as schools, day centres and medical centres. The post holder will drive a non-emergency ambulance or minibus in accordance with the law, demonstrating a commitment to the comfort and safety of passengers whilst showing consideration for other road users._

- All aspects of safe loading and driving vehicles
- Assessment and training to MiDAS standards
- Manual handling and First aid
- Awareness of safeguarding issues for children and vulnerable adults
- Emergency evacuation from a minibus
- Use of electronic information and routing systems (Mobisoft/Trapeze)

**What we expect from you**:
1. A full UK driving licence with full D or D1 entitlement and a maximum of 3 penalty points
2. Experience of driving larger vehicles
3. Experience of transporting people or experience of
providing care and support to individuals in a health or social care setting
4. A satisfactory enhanced DBS check
5. A caring and compassionate nature
6. Excellent communication skills
7. Resilience and the ability to work under pressure
8. Flexibility to meet the needs of the business and a willingness to work unsociable hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

**Hours of work**:
This role is a casual or 0 hours role, it offers you the flexibility to accept or decline work to fit around your lifestyle or other commitments.
