About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Minibus Driver to join our team at Community Transport. As a Minibus Driver, you will be responsible for providing professional and high-quality care to our passengers, collecting them from their homes and transporting them to various destinations such as day centres, schools, and medical centres.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a minibus in accordance with the law, demonstrating a commitment to the comfort and safety of passengers while showing consideration for other road users.
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure that passengers receive a high level of care and respect.
  • Work collaboratively with the passenger team to ensure that all passengers receive the best possible service.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to maintain and improve your skills and knowledge.

Requirements
  • A full UK driving licence with D1 entitlement and a maximum of 3 penalty points.
  • Experience of driving larger vehicles.
  • Experience of transporting people or experience of providing care and support to individuals in a health or social care setting.
  • A satisfactory enhanced DBS check.
  • A caring and compassionate nature.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Resilience and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Flexibility to meet the needs of the business and a willingness to work unsociable hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
