Accounts Assistant

**Rotheram Carrington Recruitment Group**are pleased to be supporting a well-established manufacturing SME, who are based in Deeside. Our client is seeking a passionate, hard working Accounts Assistant who is happy to 'muck in' and supportthe team. This 3-6 month temporary role, has come about due to company growth and to help support the accounts function through a system implementation. A really exciting time to join a small, friendly finance team as soon as possible. Reporting to the FinanceDirector, you will be responsible for the following duties:
**Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for the processing of invoices on to the finance system, ensuring they are processed correctly and in a timely manner
- Ensuring sales invoices are sent out on time
- Support the Credit control function - liaising with customers to ensure queries are addressed and payments made on a timely basis as well as debt collection
- To provide month end support
- Payroll administration - collection of hours, holiday and overtime from managers
- Assisting with bank reconciliations
- Reporting of any overdue and disputed debts to the Head of Finance
- Ad hoc administrative duties and management of the finance inbox
**Skills/Experience**
- Must be used to working in a fast-moving environment and is able to see a job through from start to finish
- Good Excel & Word skills essential
- Must have excellent attention to detail, and be able to work to tight deadlines
- Have a positive can-do attitude
- Working as part of a team and proactively supporting colleagues during busier periods
- Excellent communication skills
**Salary/Benefits**
- Full time position - Monday to Thursday 8am to 4.30pm and Friday until 12noon
- £22,000 to £25,000
- Free Parking
