**THE COMPANY**

This key appointment will appeal to an ambitious, high achieving vehicle contract hire/rental leader with a real track record of delivering profitable business growth. With significant opportunities for future growth, they wish to recruit a highly motivated Commercial Director to take this ambitious businessto the next level.

**THE ROLE**

Reporting to the MD, and a key member of the leadership team, your responsibilities will be as follows:

- Lead and build the commercial department to support growth, operational efficiency and business excellence
- Working closely with the MD, delivery of all KPI’s in line with commercial and financial growth objectives
- Oversee all vehicle transactions, asset purchase, disposal, utilisation and optimisation to enhance performance and margin
- Manage budgets, expenditure and business development strategy, focused on ROI and profit/loss projections
- Initiate market research studies to identify new potential markets for products and services
- Place the customer at the heart of everything, ensuring delivery of a strong and positive customer experience
- Develop a collaborative high-performance culture, providing energy, leadership and support to the business

**THE PERSON**
- An impressive track record of achievement in leading teams, enhancing business growth and operational efficiency in a vehicle rental/contract hire arena
- An experienced Director/Manager or perhaps an ambitious up and coming senior level sales or operations leader looking for your next exciting career step
- A commercially astute strategic thinker with exceptional knowledge of the vehicle rental arena, achieving target objectives on a consistent basis
- Excellent relationship building, presentation and negotiation skills to drive commercial performance and profitability to new levels
- Enthusiastic and positive, leading a culture of best practice and continuous improvement
- Hands on, driven and self-motivated, innovative and passionate about delivering great results
