**About the team**: Digital Communities Wales: Digital Confidence, Health and Well-being supports organisations and groups who work with the public in Wales to think about how to increase digital inclusion to ensure that everyone in Wales can benefit from being online. As a programme, we work to ensure that everyone has the skills, access, and motivation to be a confident user of the internet and digital technology. You will be part of a pan Wales team, working with colleagues who carry out a range of responsibilities as part of a wider delivery team working towards established outcomes

**Purpose of the role**:To be responsible for the development and coordination of sustainable digital inclusion activity at a local authority, health board and/or national thematic level.

**Location**: This role will involve travel across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan and as such could be based at our Cardiff hub space or alternatively from home. Business Mileage will be reimbursed.

**Qualifications**:
You will have a good standard of general education.

**Knowledge/Experience**:
You will have significant experience of building effective relationships, partnerships, and networks with a range of organisations that result in sustainable change.

You will have an understanding of a range of digital tools, devices and platforms and the ways in which they can benefit individuals, organisations and communities.

You will have an awareness of key Welsh Government digital and health policy areas, and the Well-being of Future Generations Act.

You will have an understanding and an interest in the digital inclusion and digital skills agenda and the associated challenges of connectivity, e-accessibility and drivers that influence digital take-up, but training and learning opportunities can be provided in relation to this.

You will have an understanding of volunteering and volunteer development, but training can be provided in relation to this.

**Skills**:
You will have highly developed skills in creating and adapting bespoke approaches to engagement with a variety of client groups. This will ideally include, but not be limited to, developing local partnerships and projects to influence and achieve sustainable change.

You will have developed skills in analysing organisational and/or project activity and strategy in order to identify appropriate solutions for clients.

You will have developed skills in delivering training and workshops to different audiences.

You will have developed skills in confidently and enthusiastically communicating and engaging, through a variety of mediums, with operational and senior external stakeholders. This communication will be verbally, both virtually and face to face, and in written format of a high quality.

You will have developed skills in building rapport and identifying opportunities for networking, collaboration, partnership working, negotiating, influencing and problem solving.

You will have strong skills in ICT.

All staff are expected to be able to work independently and as part of a team and organise work in order to meet multiple deadlines, build effective relationships and use MS Office and online meeting tools.

The ability to communicate fluently in Welsh is desirable but not essential for this role.
