Hopetown Darlington opens its doors this summer as the region’s most exciting and newest visitor attraction. This ambitious project extends across a 7.5-acre site and will encompass a wagon themed play park, an immersive time travel experience ride, and will even include a gallery to watch live engineering in action. In addition, visitors can enjoy touring exhibitions, a reimagined state of the art museum and entertaining festivals and events for the whole family.

A spacious café and shop are also part of this incredible site which is steeped in Darlington’s rail heritage and will offer a family day out like no other. The venue will attract upwards of 300,000 visits annually, of which up to 100,000 are expected to be from outside the region. Hopetown Darlington is seeking inspired and driven individuals who can bring personality, energy and enthusiasm to the team.

As Housekeeping Co-Ordinator you will lead a cleaning team to ensure exceptionally high standards are not only implemented, but maintained throughout the venue. Leading by example you will take charge of staff rotas and cleaning duties to implement a robust and thorough housekeeping schedule.

You must be highly organised, motivated and have a keen eye for detail. A positive approach and an ability to motivate a team that takes pride in their work is essential. This is a front facing role and you may be required on occasion to assist visitors where needed.
