We Clean Offices have an exciting new opportunity for a Gatehouse Security Operator to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. Shift patterns vary from week to week as follows:
Week 1: from Monday to Thursday from 5am to 12pm and Friday 5am to 11:30am.

Week 2: from Monday to Thursday from 12pm to 7:30pm and Friday 11:30am to 5:30pm.

Previous experience of gatehouse duties is an advantage but not essential as training is given.

The main tasks include:

- Ensuring only authorised personnel are given access to the site.
- Welcoming, helping and directing those who seek your assistance, identifying potential security threats to security and escalating them appropriately.
- Performing colleague and contractor searches when required in line with the Client’s Company policy.
- Working collaboratively with our Client to identify risk and review CCTV recordings as part of stock loss investigations.

To be considered for the role you will need:

- Resident in the United Kingdom for 5 years for SC clearance.
- A current SIA licence.
- A full 5 years checkable employment history.
- A full driving licence and access to your own personal vehicle because there is no pedestrian access to the site.*
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal communications skills, as you will be required to provide detailed verbal and written accounts of criminal activity.
- You will need to be welcoming and patient with customers, and able to handle conflict in a professional manner.
- The ability to remain calm under pressure.

Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: £10.90 per hour
