**Role Overview**
As the Billing Advisor you’ll ensure that invoices are produced in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring turn around and quality KPI’s are achieved. You are responsible for liaising with internal and external customers to ensure data used for invoicing is accurate and timely.
**What you’ll do**:
- Ensure that all invoices/statements are accurate and produced within KPI turnaround times. Failure to do this will impact on Bupa’s ability to credit control effectively and will result in loss of income for the Bupa group.
- Communicate as necessary with the client and internal departments of Bupa to ensure information required to complete billing request is obtained.
- Be the contact point for the client or internal departments for queries relating to billing.
- Provide any internal management information where required, in line with productivity and turnaround analysis.
- Using various system generated reports and on-line enquiries to ensure that all invoice records are accurate and in accordance with the contractual agreement.
- To continuously provide a high standard of service and administration to all internal and external customers including the creation of tasks and events following contact and/or action.
- To complete filing of group information on SWIFT or On-line group file.
- To log and update SWIFT with any group/customer complaints, and escalate appropriately within the FSA/FOS guidelines.
- Challenge inappropriate requests to ensure the business is protected.
**What you’ll bring**:
- Capable and confident written and verbal communicator.
- Experience of Customer Complaint Resolution.
- A natural ability to challenge decisions.
- Proactive with a ‘can do’ approach.
- An ability to prioritise your own workload and work to deadlines, with excellent organisational skills.
