Our client based in Egham is seeking an experienced Finance Assistant to join the team.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be a strong team player with a good work ethic and an excellent level of attention to detail; able to deal with large volumes of data and possess excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
Process large volumes of bank payments, incoming cheques, cash & credit card payments daily for banking.
Reconciliations.
Petty cash and expense processing/reconciliation.
Answering office phone, handling daily post, general finance duties.
Close working relationship with the finance team and other departments throughout the business to ensure all queries are resolved in a timely manner.

Experience/Qualifications/Skills

Previous relevant experience in a similar role within a finance team.
Hands - on knowledge of Sage Line 50.
A good understanding of both purchase and sales ledger cycle to include processing reconciliations at an intermediary level.
High level of attention to detail.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Understand and maintain FCA regulations to ensure company is compliant.
Intermediate level of MS Excel.
