Lead Employment Advisor

The Lead Employment Advisor joins the Restart programme which offers support to Universal Credit claimants who have been out of work for at least 9 months to find jobs in their local area. The scheme will provide up to 12 months of tailored support for each participant. Palladium will work with employers, local government, and other partners to deliver tailored support for individuals can could be simple CV guidance to training courses, employability upskilling and job searching.
The role is located in Southampton.
The Lead Advisor will support the Business Manager in coaching and upskilling the team as well as tracking team performance against key performance indicators. They will role model excellent caseload, performance and compliance management and will report directly into the Business Manager.
This position is based in our busy Southampton office and flexibility to cover other offices in Hampshire may be required.
**Primary Duties and responsibilities**:
- Role model high levels of consistent performance alongside quality and compliance.
- Role model excellent caseload management skills and manage a caseload.
- Support the Business Manager with tracking team performance and key performance indicators.
- A proactive and solution focused approach to challenges.
- Support the business manager in tracking quality and compliance.
- Support the Business Manager by completing caseload reviews with Employment Advisor’s in the team.
- Coach and support new Employment Advisors within the team.
- Identify areas of development within our delivery and work alongside the BM to address.
**Skills and experience**:
- Required_
- Able to demonstrate consistent performance alongside quality and compliance. Ideally experience in a similar sector and of leading a team or having ownership of elements of a role / within a team.
- Experience in implementing new initiatives and managing these through to review / success.
- High level of professional credibility and a sense of pride and integrity in driving tasks through to completion.
- Assertiveness and excellent relationship management skills.
- A level of independence and professionalism to take the lead as needed.
- Confidence and strong facilitation and presentation skills.
