Applications are invited for a NIHR Clinical Lecturer in Cardio-thoracic Surgery (Department of Surgery) or Neurosurgery (Department of Clinical Neurosciences) or Intensive Care Medicine (Department of Medicine).

Based on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus, this post offers unrivalled opportunity to undertake high quality research within an outstanding academic and clinical environment. Applicants should be medically qualified, have full GMC registration, and are required to hold a current National Training Number NTN/NTN(A) in Cardio-thoracic Surgery or Neurosurgery or Intensive Care Medicine.

**Salary Scales**

£39,260pa - £68,478pa StR

£43,923pa - £63,152 pa Nodal (ST3 and above)

This appointment requires an Honorary Clinical Contract. This is an integrated appointment between the University and relevant NHS Trust / Body. You will therefore also be issued with an Honorary Clinical Consultant Contract by the NHS Trust / Body. You should be aware that if your contract with the NHS Trust / Body is terminated your employment with the University will be terminated, and vice versa. You will require GMC registration, Licence to Practice and Medical Defence Cover for the duration of your appointment.

Fixed-term: 4 years.

This appointment requires an Honorary Clinical Contract.

The University has a responsibility to ensure that all employees are eligible to live and work in the UK.
