**Job Overview**
We are looking for a Book-keeper to join a highly dynamic environment in a well-established accountancy practice. The duties include the production and analysis of financial information, liaising directly with clients to ensure their needs are fulfilled, process all types of financial information (receivables/payables etc) and assist with the generation and submission of VAT returns/payroll. The Book-keeper also has to work closely with accountants to assist in the production of accounts.
**Main duties include**:
- Processing sales and purchase invoices for a variety of clients
- Completing bank reconciliations
- Generating and submitting VAT returns
- Calculating and processing payroll records
- Liaising directly with clients on a regular basis
- Assist in maintaining compliance for all clients across a variety of categories
- General adhoc administration (expected with any office role)
**Qualifications/Skills**:
- Adequate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Adequate knowledge of accounting software(s)
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Organised with an aptitude in attention to detail
- Strong numerical skills
- Computer literate

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£27,500.00 per year
