Permanent position, 36.5 hours per week.

You will have a proven commitment to delivering service of the highest quality to applicants and their supporters. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with a variety of people, including those for whom English is not their first language, in a supportive and sensitive manner. You will be educated to at least GCSE level (including in Mathematics and English) or equivalent and will have the ability to work quickly and reliably with large volumes of information. You will have excellent attention to detail and customer service skills, and a sound knowledge and experience of office IT packages (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, Access). Experience of working with databases, records management and data entry, and knowledge of the Higher Education sector, (particularly with regard to admissions), is desirable.

**JOB PURPOSE**

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- You may on occasion be expected to process some basic decision recommendations.
- To quality assure and verify decisions in order to ensure they are accurate and fit for purpose.
- To consider the authenticity and equivalence of supporting documentation provided by the applicant to determine whether offer conditions have been met.
- To work productively as part of a team with sufficient flexibility to move to non-core areas.
- To contribute to filing and other related administrative duties including large volumes of information and close attention to detail.
- To provide feedback and suggestions to continuously improve and develop service.
- To help with, and contribute to, University and office-wide events and services.
- Such other duties as may be requested by the Admissions Service Manager or Admissions Co-ordinator from time to time commensurate with the grading of the role.
