**The Role: Insurance Finance Support Specialist**

Are you ready to take on an exciting and dynamic role in the world of insurance finance? PIB Group is seeking a talented individual to join our Lincoln finance team as an Insurance Finance Support Specialist. This is a fantastic opportunity to become a valuable member of our team, contributing to the success of both Homelet and Let Alliance, as well as participating in exciting projects related to the evolving landscape of Barbon over the next 18 months**.**

**Responsibilities**:
As an Insurance Finance Support Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

- Creation of Monthly Bordereaux: Efficiently prepare monthly bordereaux reports for both Homelet and Let Alliance.
- Curation of Banks: Manage and maintain records related to claims and bordereaux.
- Process Improvement: Continuously develop and refine the current bordereaux processing procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Reconciliation and Payment: Ensure reconciliation, payment processing, and address queries for all bordereaux sent.
- Maintain Business Relations: Help maintain strong business relationships with insurers, promoting collaboration and effective communication.
- Project Support: Assist the Senior Management Accountant (SMA) in various projects within the business, contributing your expertise and insights.
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Complete balance sheet reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
- Monthly Management Accounts: Contribute to the completion of monthly management accounts, playing a crucial role in financial reporting.
- Audit Assistance: Support the audit process, providing necessary documentation and assistance as required.

**Professional experience & background**:
To excel in this role, you should possess:

- Previous experience in accounting or a similar role within the insurance industry, demonstrating a strong understanding of financial processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to teamwork.
- Ability to adapt to change and learn quickly is highly valuable.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development in insurance finance, staying up to date with industry trends and best practices.
