The Arthur Terry Learning Partnership is a highly successful Multi Academy Trust (MAT) encompassing 6 secondary schools, 14 primary schools, 1 all-through school, a Teaching School Hub, and School Centred Initial Teacher Training provider. Our schools are based in North Birmingham, Tamworth, Lichfield, North Warwickshire, and Coventry.
Due to our growth, we are seeking to appoint a HR Adviser to join our experienced team. You will be responsible for providing a human resources function within a Hub of schools/services. Children are at the heart of everything we do, this is not just a statement, this is what drives and shapes the work we do. You will share the same passion and commitment to delivering excellent HR services as we do.
This is a great opportunity for someone with child or caring commitments as there is not a required to work in school holidays.
Key responsibilities
- the HR team compromises of two hubs, with a Senior HR Advisor and HR Advisors delivering a HR service within each hub. You will work within a Hub, providing high quality and timely HR advice and support
- to ensure that best HR practice is implemented across the hub
- to ensure compliance with Trust policies and practices
- focus on core areas of People, Systems, Date through Compliance, Delivery and Enablement
What you will need to succeed
- ability to work flexibly in an innovative way finding solutions that work for employees and the Trust ensuing children are at the heart of all decisions
- the ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and diplomacy is crucial
- minimum CIPD Level 5 or equivalent qualification in employment law
- be emotionally intelligent with the ability to build strong working relationships with a variety of stakeholders
- the ability to work in a fast paced, challenging yet rewarding role
